The Manager, Benefits reports directly to Director, Total Rewards and Operations and contributes to a dynamic Human Capital team that is driving connectivity and growth throughout the organization. This position is located in our Boston office.
Benefit Administration
Manage all U.S. health and welfare programs for health, welfare, retirement, disability/leave management, COBRA, spending accounts, wellness, educational assistance, employee assistance and absence.
· Maintain relationships with all benefit providers, brokers, retirement administrator and advisor, etc.
· Manage audits, compliance testing, reporting, and related activities.
· Maintain communications and partner with marketing as needed.
· Ensure compliance with all U.S. required benefit reporting including ERISA.
· Lead education programs leveraging broker and providers including retirement, Medicare, health savings, financial wellness, etc.
· Update provider systems as needed (e.g. Life - when there are changes in compensation, etc.)
· Manage the relationship with U.S. 401(k)-provider
Day-to-day operations including required participant communications.
Plan changes and/or enhancements, compliance, corrections,
Impact to plans due to mergers and acquisitions.
Organize 401(k) quarterly meetings with advisor, broker and committee members. Serve as a non- voting member of the Committee.
· Reconcile benefit provider invoices to active employees.
Benefit Renewal
· Lead annual U.S. benefit renewal process.
· Review broker modeling, analyze scenarios, evaluate company and employee impact with consideration of risk, cost, and impact on talent acquisition/retention. Make recommendation.
· Lead open enrollment process by partnering with HRIS team for set-up, testing, integrations, updates to rates/limits.
· Develop employee resources and partner with Marketing on employee communications.
Other Responsibilities
· Manage global absence and leave programs including payment schedules, required information and notices, liaise with payroll and disability provider(s) as needed.
· Customer Service - conduct new hire benefit orientation and renewal meetings, and respond to employee questions regarding benefits.
· Partnership:
HRIS - ensure successful integration of all benefit products, programs and annual benefit events.
Payroll - ensure successful integration of new rates post enrollment.
Talent Management and Administrative Services - awards and charitable giving match.
HRBPs - education re: compensation processes, tools and structure.
· Conduct employment verifications.
Job Requirements

Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Certified Benefit Professional (CBP) through World at Work and/or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and/or Workday Professional certification preferred.
· At least six years relevant, global benefits experience.
· Experience with HRMS with and meaningful analysis and reporting.
· Financial or professional services experience preferred.
· Workday experience highly preferred.
· Experience partnering with an Executive Leadership team.
