Description
The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for report writing and creating analytical dashboards globally across all functional areas to include Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, Talent Management and Onboarding (future enhancement).
This person will be responsible for configuring two or more functional areas. This individual must have configuration experience in Compensation or Recruiting. Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday. Drive the implementation and release of new functionality and enhancements, as well as operational tasks. Advanced expertise in Workday for process analysis, design and problem-solving with focus on end-to-end processes and impacts. The analyst will act as the liaison between cross-functional business teams.
He/She will be responsible for translating complex business needs to effective design recommendations, system/data analysis, instituting design in system, and leading or participating in testing and deployment activities. Leverage deep functional expertise to understand process and systems requirements.

Reviews Workday processes and makes recommendations to improve efficiency. Implements new Workday functionality.
Documents requirements, ensures accurate data gathering and mapping, develops documentation, and configures system for two or more functional areas.
Partners with the HR team to ensure effective Organizational Change Management for implementation of process changes in Workday.
Partners with the HR team to identify differences between current processes and new processes, ensures appropriate documentation is developed and communicated.
Develops and executes project plans and end-user training.
Provides training and support for Workday go-live and/or process changes
Participates in bi-annual Workday releases to include testing and implementation.
Ensures Workday processes are reflective of current policies and practices. Makes recommendations for process improvements in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.
Updates Workday configuration as needed to support the Company goals and policy changes.
Tests system changes.
Creates and updates Workday job aides and training guides.
Audits data and implements practices to ensure data integrity.
Understands organizational needs and develops reports and/or dashboards to identify key trends. Writes advanced, composite and matrix reports and analyzes data for trend reporting and process improvements.
Reviews and analyzes reports for data integrity prior to release to stakeholders.
Creates and updates metrics and analytics for leadership.
Provides Workday user support to HR and teams globally.
Understands processes and troubleshoots issues and concerns.
Participates in other related HR projects.
Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Information Systems required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for 4 year degree.
Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience required. Minimum 3 years Workday experience is required, 5 years preferred. Experience with Power BI is a plus.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and develop strong working relationships throughout the organization at all levels. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Functional understanding of core HR business terminology, processes, and practices.
Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities. Ability to communicate and present at all levels of the organization.
Must be able to effectively manage change and support impacted areas of the business. Must be able to train effectively at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
