The Senior Compensation Analyst will work collaboratively with organization leaders, the CHRO and the HR team to develop, implement, and administer a competitive and equitable compensation program that serves as the base for an organizational performance incentive program (base+). This position will be responsible for wage data and survey participation, market analytics, guidance in compensation plan design, performance metrics design and quarterly reporting for clinical and non-clinical employees. The performance compensation program will serve to enhance base compensation while driving enhanced strategic performance improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.
CCP or CMS certification preferred.
One to three years of experience as a compensation analyst required.
Schedule Of Employment: This is a full-time position, 40-hour, exempt position.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Performance Based Compensation
In the short term convert the current value-based compensation program, focused on clinical service lines, to a performance-based compensation program that includes all service lines, teams, disciplines and non-clinical staff.
Research and design a performance-based compensation program that will compensate employees for the talent, skills and abilities they bring and share with the organization and meeting performance criteria.
Will work with leaders to determine effective performance criteria for each area of the organization, educate employees on the program, evaluate metrics and produce quarterly reports for leaders and employees.
Will work with leaders on best practice for communicating with their team members on individual outcomes and how to work toward improvement and meeting expected criteria.
Designs solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans keeping the employee experience while ensuring that Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice remains a leader in healthcare, such as incentive plans or stipend/bonus structures.
Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and organizational objectives.
Job Specific Compensation
Interviews and surveys employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job.
Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary bands.
Evaluates and implements job analysis instruments and materials.
Market & Salary Survey
Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
Partners with the manager for employee engagement & experience and talent acquisition partners in respect to wage and salary information as received by candidates in the acceptance of offer process.
Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
In conjunction with the manager of employee resources will consult with department and organization leaders on classification and compensation reviews and issues. Ability to take feedback and provide analysis and evaluation of positions.
Plans and communicates preferred methods and best practices for hiring, training, compensating, and evaluating employees
Regulatory
Maintains knowledge of changes in rules and regulations that impact compensation and pay practices such as those contained in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Ensures pay equity and compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices, particularly as they pertain to wages and compensation.
